November 23!

Today's meeting consisted of these topics:

1) What should the Math Society shirt look like ?!
All suggestions are welcome, whether drawn or looked up on the internet! We want everyone to agree on it :]
*NOTE* We want it to say Hollywood High School Math Society on the front and a cool design on the back .

2) If you are interested in the A.M.C sign up with Marion.

3) We planned out what we are going to do the next two Mondays!

Hey yo hey !
at today's meeting we talked about:

-designs for shirts.
-Jenni proposed a friendly, ecosystem yet profitable plan... (still in progress)
-we looked for high schools that have a math club.
-Sign up for A.M.C. (American Math Competition) !

Club sale Friday!! =0

We have decided to sell piña coladas for the club sale this Friday.
We will sell them for $2.
If anyone would like to donate money to buy the supplies,
that would be greatly appreciated.
Or if anyone wants to go out and buy pineapple juice
and/or coconut milk or coconut cream.
We need "bar tenders" to be present at the club sale.
You can stop by any time to during the sale to help.

Small meeting tomorrow in order to work out the details for Friday.


Next week, we will begin preparing for the American Math Competition.
We're going to blow everyone out of the waters!(:

Ps. I also wanted to sincerely apologize for missing about three meetings,
there is no excuse but a lot of things were going on.

INFORMATION !

Math Society meets on Mondays at 12:50 in room 425 (Mr. Lange's room).
You will have a good fifteen minutes to do what you need to do ;P

Requirements: there are none. :) It is just a place to show your, if not gain, mathematical skills and obviously meet new people, hehe. Hope to see you there, ciaooo !

Hello Hollywood High Students,

Math society is back! We welcome all and any students who have any interest in Mathematics. You do not have to have extensive calculus skills to join. XD It is just a fun place to enhance the skills you already have. We get cool shirts, and participate in Math competitions. So fun, I know. We look forward to seeing anybody that is interested. We meet every Monday at lunch in room 425. Our first meeting is on October 5th! (:

Club Rush is on thursday so we will recruit a bunch of new kids.
